Friday evening, Bryan and I were supposed to have a date night. We ended up going out to Smokey Bones, a restaurant I am not particularly fond of, and then after not being able to come up with anything we wanted to do, we returned home to veg out on the couch. I actually went to bed at about 8:00 after reading a little bit, and it was wonderful. It doesn't sound much like a date, but it was actually nice just relaxing. Saturday, I attended a Kentucky Reading Project (KRP) class all day. It wasn't too bad and I was able to see all the other KRP participants again. Saturday afternoon, we went to an outdoor wedding at Fountain Square. It was a really cool setting. One of Bryan's co-workers was the one getting married so there were a lot of people from the water district there. The reception was at the Indian Hills Country Club and we were able to kind of have our own little party during the reception. It was a good wedding and reception, nothing too fancy, but very lovely.
I didn't think about school work until today which could have been bad because I had a lot to do, but it was very nice, and I have gotten a whole lot done today. I even managed to fit in a two hour nap! Bryan has been watching racing and football non-stop all weekend. We are only beginning Fantasy Football and I am already ready for it to be over. :)
