We played disc golf several times during the week and we even ventured back to Hobson Grove today. I scored an 82 which for Hobson I think is really good for me. I managed to not have to hunt through the woods very much for my discs but I fell off the first tee box, skinned my knee, and twisted my ankle. At first I thought our afternoon was going to be similar to the last time we tried Hobson and left after hole 5 but it proved to be not so challenging this time around.
I still haven't decided if I am going to paint the office. I am leaning towards not. I think I am just going to look for a different window treatment for now and call that good. We did start painting the doors in our house yesterday. I know it's a little late in the week but at least it is a start. Working with oil based paint is not very fun and I think Bryan and I were both dreading it. It's not so bad. It just takes a very long time for the paint to dry. I am sure we will be working on the doors for several weeks but at least we are doing something. Bryan also got the estimate for the materials for our garage and just has to get one more and then we will order them from the cheapest company. Yay!!
We went up to Jackson's Orchard this weekend and searched for the perfect pumpkin and also took some pictures for our four picture frames in the dining room. We try to change out the pictures for the season and since Bryan has improved in his photography skills over the past year the pictures are turning out really nice. We also picked up some delicious pumpkin butter and butternut squash while we were there.
Our dogs have had a big week. Bella went for some shots this weeks at the vet, we think Sophie is about to go into heat so hopefully we will have another round of puppies in a few months, and both dogs got haircuts. Sophie looks about the same but poor Bella was puppy cut and their version of a puppy cut and our version of a puppy cut did not quite match up. She looks so little. Let's just say I hope that her hair grows fast in the next week or two because she doesn't have much hair on her at all.
Last night we went to see the movie Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist. It was cute but not the greatest movie in the world by any means. I figured Bryan would have said that he hated it when we were discussing our thoughts about the movie as we were were walking to the car and heading home like we do with any other movie but he asked me if I ever wished my life was like the characters. I was puzzled at first but after some questioning I realized he meant spontaneous. We are not very spontaneous. We might be two of the least spontaneous people in the world. We plan out everything. But that got us thinking. We are going to try to be more spontaneous. Whether that brings good or bad, I'll try to update on our spontaneity.
