So here is my dilemma. Bryan and I have been in this house for a little over a year and a half and I have already grown sick of my color choice in the office. I had a brief moment where I almost painted the bedroom again but I got over that once I found some amazing bedding that I would love to have from Pottery Barn. Since it is my fall break I have been dying to change something like renovate the bathroom or put in our order for new countertops that we are going to get around to one day or even (and I know it would be a miracle) actually start on the garage. Ok that is a sore subject in itself but I have really been wanting to do something. So I got the bright idea that for about $60 (the cost of about 2 gallons of paint) I could completely change the look of our office. Our office is currently a very light shade of blue. It is the only room in the entire house that is not a warm color and I have never really been satisfied with the color. You can see the room when you walk in the front door and it does blend well with the living room but I think a light burnt orange would go just as nicely as the blue. If you feel so inclined, please help me decide what to do by casting a vote. ----->

I chose an easier spread for the dining room table this year so that it is easier to move when we have a lot of food to put on the table. I decided to put all the pine cones, pumpkins, gourds, and candles in a basket.

I voted to paint it orange but only if it's something you want to do. If painting is going to stress you out, don't do it. But if you'll have fun doing it and will feel better afterwards, then definitely do it! Your house (as always) looks super cute for fall!
ask anyone, i change paint colors a lot! we have lived here 4 yrs and i have painted every single room (living room, great room/kitchen, 3 bedrooms, hallway, and bathrooms)in the house TWICE.

I miss your warm home and beautiful fall decorations!!! As for your office... I think the blue looks really nice, but warming it up would be nice also. Just watch that its not too much orange with the color of your hardwood floors. Not that the floors are orange, but they're in the same ballpark. BUT I do like the orange... and warm is nice... do whatever will make you happy! :)
