I am just about to run out of energy and yes, I know it is all my fault. I have been so busy. I have had a lot of success with many things in the past few days, but I have almost overdone it. I am not sick or even grumpy which sometimes happens when fatigue sets in so I really can't complain. I am just such a perfectionist!! I have only been in school, what nine days now? I haven't even started my fall classes yet and I am ready for fall break. I absolutely love my job and while I have been staying kind of late, I usually don't bring too much home. It's just that I do so much during the day, that I am exhausted. Oh and I had a bright idea that I would create a movie for our Open House starring the 3rd grade. It was a cute movie, about five minutes long, and very inspirational to the teachers in my school, but it was a headache. It was the biggest fiasco ever getting the footage home, which is a long story in itself. I ended up only having Monday night to edit the movie so that it was ready for Tuesday evening. Everything worked out, but needless to say I got very little sleep Monday night. At least I do realize it is my fault for being an overachiever!! I have also been working on my website for my classroom. Again it was very complicated to get just the homepage uploaded because of our district's crazy technology policies. I have a little bit of it done and I will add a link to it if you are interested. It will hopefully continually become more extensive.
I am going to bed early tonight, hopefully tomorrow and Friday I can build up some energy because Bryan and I are going to see Switchfoot at the Louisville State Fair. I am very excited about it. We are even going to eat at Lynn's Paradise Cafe (my favorite restaurant)!!! I can't wait!!
