Every time I set foot into a bookstore or attend any kind of event where books are being discussed I am faced with a dilemma. Should I go ahead and buy that book that looks so appealing on the shelf or the book that has been recommended or should I just wait and read all the other books I have at home on my bookshelves before buying a new one? I always end up buying more. What can I say, I am addicted to books. So far this summer break I have finished one book, New Moon by Stephanie Meyer. I have bought three new books this past week though and I had every intention of reading Poisonwood Bible next, but that always seems to change. Now on my list I have the following "read for fun" books that I am going to try to read before buying any more books:
Eclipse by Stephanie Meyer (This series is wonderful, although it is a teen series.)
Poisonwood Bible
The Secret Life of Bees
The Shack
Freedom Writer's Diary
The Kite Runner
Project Mulberry
These are my top picks that I own and have not read and the list can go on and on and on...
Hopefully I can stick to reading these before buying anymore. Doubt it, but maybe it will happen. I just signed up for a Barnes and Noble Membership, too. Now I can buy more books and get great discounts. I AM DOOMED (but I love it)!!!! :)
