Today was my first day teaching first grade. Although I can already tell that I have possibly way too high of expectations, I think it is going to be great! The day flew by and I felt rushed to get all that I wanted to do done on the first day, but other than that I could not have asked for a better first day. I left the house at about 5:40 a.m. so I am exhausted and will try to post again tomorrow for a more thorough analysis of teaching first graders. Right now though I am feeling good, very excited, and ready to go to bed. I know that is sad at 8:30 p.m. but it's going to be another early day tomorrow.
*I will try to get some pictures tomorrow because my new camera was given to me on Tuesday!! I now take back every negative thing I said about my class because my professor was so gracious to buy me a very nice and brand new camera after learning about the Barren River Lake devastation. I am so grateful and happy!!

I am glad you had such a great first day! We started school Monday and had a really great week. I am excited to see how this year goes with trying to home school the older kids AND keep Macy busy! :P Praying for you!
