A Good Report

Today I went in for a routine prenatal check-up and I got a good report. I have been sticking to the GD meal plan and it has paid off. As of right now, I will not need any extra insulin if I continue with this diet. I have managed to lose two pounds since my last visit though which wasn't a concern because Baby Seth is continuing to put on weight as he should. We were also able to get our third trimester ultrasound which included some 3-D pictures. Seth didn't want to cooperate because not only was he squirmy, but he kept putting his hands and feet, yes, feet in front of his face. When his hands and feet were out of the way, the umbilical cord would block part of his face. We managed to get little snippets of his face but not a really clear shot of his entire face. We will probably have another ultrasound a few weeks before he is due to check his size, so maybe we will get a better preview of him then. I was fine with the shots we got today because I think he just looks cute as a button but I am a little biased.
