36 Weeks

I went in for my weekly check up today and things are progressing. Here's the scoop:

• My blood pressure was slightly high, but normal after it was taken 30 minutes later.
• I have dilated just a little bit more than last week. I wasn't given an amount in centimeters so I am assuming barely 1 cm if even that much.
  
• I am 70% effaced.
• The baby's head is down and facing the right way.
• I am measuring right at 36 weeks so that's good.
  
• Fetal heart rate was 140 beats per minute.

I have been feeling some contractions the past few days. They are pretty sporadic but I can tell when I am having one now. I wasn't sure at first, but they are becoming more apparent and more uncomfortable each day. I can definitely feel our baby boy moving down and I am just hoping that he can hold off for a least another two weeks.
