3 Dead Azaleas

I love beautiful flowers and I even like to work in the flower garden, but I will not claim that I am good at actually keeping the plants alive. Today I had to make a visit to Lowe's to return three azaleas that I managed to kill in the past three or four months. Luckily, I happened to buy the azaleas that had a one year warranty. The tag indicated that if the plants die within a year of being purchased then a full refund would be given back to the customer. Well I gathered my three azaleas up in a trash bag, collected the tags and the receipt from when I purchased the plants, and headed into Lowe's. They indeed gave me a full refund and I took that money and bought some herbs. Let's hope they don't have the same destiny as the shrubs.

you forgot to say you are a wonderful daughter - in-law in your profile. Sorry about your Azaleas, I'm sure it had nothing to do with you. How did you like The Traveler's Gift?

I thought The Traveler's Gift was a unique way of explaining the seven decisions that determine personal success. I loved the characters that were used especially Anne Frank and Abraham Lincoln. I did not like the ending too much though. I wished Andy Andrews would have gone into a little more detail about how David Ponder took those first steps to success after the hospital scene. I know he showed what the future was like, but I felt he just stopped the book a page or two short. All in all it was a nice, easy read.
