Weekend Happenings

Our weekend started off with a visit from mom and dad. Friday afternoon we enjoyed some shopping for our classrooms. My mom is a preschool teacher and so she loves the Parent-Teacher store just as much as I do. We enjoyed some ice cream at a new ice cream shop and then went to dinner later on at the Catfish House. We spent the rest of the evening at home enjoying each other's company and mom helped me work on my classroom library sorting.

Saturday we started our day off at Flea Land. We were all very disappointed, it was not at all what we were expecting and does not even compare to the Jackson Flea Market. At least we know now though. Mom and Dad left at about 11:00 a.m. to venture to Nashville for some shopping and I spent the rest of the day reading Harry Potter. I finished the book!! Yeah!! I was up pretty late but it was so worth it. I am sad that there are no more Harry Potter books, but I am looking forward to reading them again before the next movie comes out.

Today we went to church, ate a nice lunch at Red Lobster, and the rest of the afternoon is going to be filled with school work and probably a nap. :)

I love the fried pickles at the Catfish House, but apparently I was the only one who did. I captured mom as she first tried them. She tried to like them, but it was no use, they were too sour for her.
